
Claudia Panico is a third-year PhD student at the Department of Mathematics and Applications of the University of Naples Federico II, where she earned her degree in Mathematics during the 2021/2022 academic year. She currently serves as the PhD student representative for her department and provides tutoring for the undergraduate Mathematics program. During her studies, she was awarded the ”Buon Compleanno Federico II 2022” prize for academic excellence and received the ”Uno Sguardo al Futuro” award as the top Mathematics graduate of the 2021/2022 academic year. Her primary research interests include the formulation and analysis of mathematical models for epidemiology that account for behavioral effects and the numerical study of methods that preserve the qualitative and asymptotic properties of such models.
